Shikellamy Friends came together around the common ideas of:
• Sponsoring outdoor activity and entertainment events at both the marina and Shikellamy overlook and;
• Providing volunteer services to enhance and maintain the quality of the park.
Community events would bring family, friends, neighbors, and yes, even strangers, together to enjoy common experiences such as:
• Great food, conversation & music during a public “Sunday Brunch in the Park”
